Experience

Beth Butler earned her undergraduate degree from St. Cloud State University and her J.D. from Mitchell Hamline School of Law. During law school, she was involved in Law Review and competed in numerous mock trial and moot court competitions. During that time, she also worked as a law clerk for a small workers’ compensation defense firm which paved the way for her career and current practice. Beth represents and advises employers and insurers in all matters specific to workers’ compensation, including providing educational seminars and specialized training on a wide variety of topics. Beth is an experienced and zealous advocate for her clients and manages all phases of litigation from initial analysis and valuation of a claim through settlement or trial. Her experience also encompasses appeals to the Workers’ Compensation Court of Appeals, the Minnesota Supreme Court, and the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals, including several notable workers’ compensation cases. Beth was named a Minnesota Super Lawer Rising Star in 2022 and 2023. Outside the office, Beth enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, watching sports, going to concerts, and volunteering as a mock trial competition judge.
