Ms. Russen has worked in the legal industry since 2011, becoming an attorney in 2018, and comes to Brown and Carlson with experience in workers’ compensation, liability defense, consumer consolidation—debt collection, and limited criminal defense.  Her current focus is on workers’ compensation defense.
Ms. Russen received her undergraduate degree from Hartwick College in New York and her J.D. from Mitchell Hamline School of Law.
Outside of the office, Kali spends her time on her Peloton, remodeling projects, and sailing. She is also an advocate for rescue animals, fostering several dogs each year through SecondHand Hounds, and a supporter of the Minnesota Opera since 2011.
